Quality in Tourism
A new accommodation rating scheme by Visit Britain was introduced in 2006. The new scheme awards stars to participating accomodation and replaces other schemes such as diamonds and roses. It is Visit Britain policy to only include accommodation that has been assessed against the Quality in Tourism criteria on official websites and accommodation lists. This policy has also been adopted by Visit london and all local authorities. Maintaining high standards of accommodation of all types is important to tourism and business in Hounslow.
