Q.I live outside the Borough of Hounslow so I can still use your service? A. Yes, as long as you either live or your business is based in one of the six West London Boroughs. In some cases we can also support you if you are based in Richmond-Upon-Thames.
Q.How long do the sessions last? A. One to one sessions with an advisor last up to 1 hour. The business start-up workshops are half-day and last 2.5 hours.
Q.What are your charges? A. £30 for a 2.5 hour workshop and £50 for a 60 minute one to one session. Until June 2012 workshops and 1:1 sessions for people who are looking to set up their own business are free to Hounslow Borough based residents. Free Start-up workshops for Hounslow Borough residents take place monthly – call today for times and availability. The Access to Finance programmes range from no cost to £200 +VAT.
Q.How can I be sure of the quality of support? A. All our advisors run their own businesses and so the Hounslow for Business clients benefits from this knowledge and experience. The advisors are also accredited by SFEDI, the business advisors framework devised by the DTI. We are also able to provide references and testimonials from satisfied clients.
Q.Where do sessions take place? A. If you are a start-up or are an existing business and you have a simple issue that you need advice and support with then those sessions will be held at Hounslow Civic Centre, your office or other suitable location.
If you are an established business that has more complex needs then we work with you to create a tailored business mentoring programme and this would be held at your office.
